Date: May 27, 2008 06:57PM Donald set me up with a ATXG4 Adapter a couple of years ago and I promptly placed it in my Digital Audio G4 running @ 466mhz. He recommended purchasing the Thermaltake TR2 430 Watt, and that's what I've been using ever since.
Since then, the DA has been highly modified and been assigned the moniker: "Project Armada" The CPU has been replaced with a 1.2Ghz Sonnet upgrade. Two PCI-IDE cards were installed NINE IDE drives were installed (one boot drive, four 250GB drives and four 200GB drives) 1.5GB of Ram 2nd Gigabit Ethernet port Optical drives and bezel removed, replaced with a variable speed fan Cold Cathode tubes and LEDs for lighting effects Each set of four hard drives are in a JBOD RAID through OSX, giving roughly two large virtual drives of 1.0TB and 800GB. The larger portion is a streaming media server for the house and the smaller one is my Final Cut Pro scratch drive for my G5. It runs 24/7 with zero problems. It's been restarted three times since it's final configuration was set and that was to move it from one residence to the next and to change out the UPS. Solid product for a great series of G4's!
